 https://www.dndbeyond.com/attachments/39j2li89/OGL1.2_DraftForDiscussionPurpose.pdf

Not Included: Page 1-55 Races to Classes.
CC 56-104 Beyond 1st Level to Spellcasting
Not Included: Page 105-253 - Spell List to Magic Items.
CC 254-260 Monster Mechanics
Not Included 261-358  Monsters
CC 358-359 Conditions
Not Included 360-403 Pantheons to Planes.

After the Survey - this is just too much effort for a publishing group like nicco and I. I might as well wait for ORC. The deauthorizing part - F*CK that - I have to spend time on this instead of writing. Yeah, follow ORC where people representing my interests are having a dialogue.

Impact of Migrating from OGL 1.0a to Creative Commons

While Ryan Dancey says Hasbro Cannot Deauthorize OGL reviewing the analysis of The Rules Lawyer I don't that is true. And that's why WOTC/HASBRO agreed to Ryan Danceys Terms in the first place.

On the matter of the De-Authorization. Earlier in the document it's clear they can change the terms. So OGL 1.1

Alan L. Bushlow in 8:20 second mark is, explains the consideration of Perpetuating the Game people get in consideration/exchange for using the material. In basic contract law - as part of any Biz operations knowledge - particularly the rules regarding considerations.

DeAuthorizing was discussed in 14:30 - "Can you deauthorize? Because to de-authorize is an internal contradiction the clause as they already mentioned, you can just use a different authorized document: a tautological Loop

9. Updating the License: Wizards or its designated Agents may publish updated versions of this License. You may use any authorised version of this License to copy, modify and distribute any Open Game Content originally distributed under any version of this License.
Its a Tautological Loop because - You cannot De-Authorize this VERSION, because once you do Then THEY CANNOT MAKE a NEW SET OF TERMS. Once you deauthorize it's like there was never a document to begin with. So "We have no existing terms and conditions.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_Game_License#3rd_Edition
In 2004, Wizards of the Coast addressed what would occur if the license was changed – the OGL "already defines what will happen to content that has been previously distributed using an earlier version, in Section 9. As a result, even if Wizards made a change you disagreed with, you could continue to use an earlier, acceptable version at your option. In other words, there's no reason for Wizards to ever make a change that the community of people using the Open Gaming License would object to, because the community would just ignore the change anyway".[6]

The thing about the contract and having said this MUCH earlier like in 2004 means that as a Living document - These terms will not be changed.

13. Termination: This License will terminate automatically if You fail to comply with all terms herein and fail to cure such breach within 30 days of becoming aware of the breach. All sublicenses shall survive the termination of this License.
What does it mean to Open GAMING?

The thing is, THERE IS STILL AN OUT - de authorizing or rendering OGL 1.0a NILL means MNEME and many of the other OGL content is orphaned. We STILL OWN our works: we cannot refer to Traveller or D&D.

ITS NOT ALL BAD. my obsession with Rewriting the RULES to be more intuitive and streamlined is helping create the foundation for an Open source system. I know I'm not the only one who's been working to make OPEN SOURCE GAMING  but its time to band together.

When they are talking about Digital Material - and I'm exposed to Frappe.io  because it was the Low Code platform ERPnext was built on.  We're going to make not just Open Gaming tools but make them creative commons.

My Favorite thing about Open Source is that the PEOPLE WHO BUILT IT get the credit. Even if Game in the Brains material copied by others - the way we improve and add to it is the brand.

I need a Plan to Transition - basically DE-listing my stuff from OGL 1.0a in the future. if things were not already COMPLICATED it gets even more Complicated.

Open Gaming - part time is Awesome

Hypothesis: rejection and preference are about opportunities.

If the opportunity is monopolized then its rejection. So someone with the right to something and asking permission and being rejected is rejection, only asking one person out is rejection, etc...

Its one of those Zero-Sum situations that requires a change of framing and to work with that framing.

but if one is not limited to a License holder, example to use an Open system, to ask out a lot of people, that what we have to offer can adapt and change then its a matter of preference.

Zero-Sum situations suck. Some people think in this way and forced to pursue a strategy that cannot adapt to changing conditions.

Preference is interesting - its "Live and let live" its not my thing but I'm grateful I can enjoy my thing without diminishing from someone else's thing. There is no "Market to Consolidate" nothing to Conquer, no single group or person to impress, ... maybe just ourselves.

But preference means being informed - knowing our OWN reasons to do something and what can happen - contributing to a market with a lot of Variety and option may not benefit oneself as much as trying to Control or Restrict a market - but it empowers buyers and the consumers.

I'm doing this part-time while I do IT, Project management, and QA work. I can only give any surplus I can give after being a full-time professional at work and dad-husband and that's Ok. Enjoying making it is clearer now only because I've tried living without making this stuff and it sucks.

Open Gaming License is not being Rejected. Power is not Zero-Sum. So far with all the Cepheus Engine stuff being made I'm appreciating it more. You get to try all these different ways of thinking and everyone's going to learn from each other. That's awesome.

Traveller SRD to Philippines 2021

the equivalent of - livelihoods that are not "Careers" if I convert Traveller SRD character Gen to Modern 2021 Philippines. Note in Traveller "Livelihood Time" is 4 year increments. So if you are not "regular" in 4 years that means your probably been contractual. The pay and the privileges of regularization is so tangible as to allow me to make a mechanic for it. Can't imagine Irregular not being a "Matter" because of Retirement pay.

The thing about converting Traveller SRD to Modern Day's Character creation raises a lot of very interesting dilemmas in how do I model it for a game system. Especially since I will run it in the Philippines.

Modeling the beggars and "Indigents" would be losing such agency as to need Mental Health and Social Welfare services (Which the country really has very little of if any).

Just trying to Model 2021 in Traveller SRD is Whoah - Overwhelming.

Its in Bob's game did I start having to play a "Drifter: Scavenger" and my own notes made me think a lot about Migrant Filipino Labor (Most affected by Pandemic; while considered "Essential Workers" they are basically hurled at the pandemic). Even the 1k credits instead of Working Passage given to the Drifters is considered a LUXURY when I read the cost of living and make the economic analysis.

this is testing my HR knowledge lolz
